The Project Manager supports teams through the various phases of our client engagements, helping to ensure that: 

  • Project timelines are adhered to
  • Key internal and external contacts are connected
  • The quality of our delivery is exceptional
  • The project is executed within scope and within budget  

More importantly, the role is an active collaborator who understands the vision and objectives for the entire project and appreciates that it is only successful if Transparent has delivered significant value for the client.

Transparent teams move quickly and employ methodologies and techniques designed to sequence specific activities with a strategic and tactical pace while maintaining accuracy and quality. The Project Manager must have experience with engagements where rapid information gathering, ongoing deliverables and changing implementation schedules are common as these are some of the pillars of Transparent’s approach.

We seek an individual with experience working with teams who are passionate about creating best-in-class solutions that will bring tangible value back to our client partners.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience at a digital agency, consultancy or similar internal client organization.
  • PMP, CSM, MPM certification a plus
  • Proficiency with collaboration platforms: Demonstrable experience working in agile methodologies is preferred.

Position Responsibilities

This role includes the expected, day-to-day responsibilities associated with Project Managers at a consultancy. These include:

  • Documentation and socialization of project structure, ways of working and team accountability based on the needs of each individual project
  • Creation and ongoing management of project plans and timelines across assigned accounts
  • Coordination of ongoing project communications, including the preparation of weekly status reports, stakeholder updates, and facilitation of regular team and client status meetings
  • Support of the account lead by taking an active role during meetings capturing and recapping all decisions points, action items, project implications and following up to move tasks forward 
  • Coordination with client finance leads to report and project profitability of assigned projects 
  • Liaison between the accounts lead, subject matter experts and client working teams to ensure client satisfaction of project delivery 
  • Recognition and escalation of project risks and issues to the account leads, SMEs and client working team 
  • Scheduling of project status and deliverable meetings throughout the project’s timeline
  • Mapping out and managing the decision approval process with relevant stakeholders
  • Contributions to client deliverable build by creating shells and structure for outputs, and assisting with quality control checks prior to client delivery 
  • Scope monitoring, including identification of the need for and supporting the development of change orders as appropriate.
  • Assist the Account Lead in resourcing and talent management
